All our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. All our work adheres to the professional Code of Ethics set by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) code of ethics.
A variety of organizations use our services in their Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to help them with all aspects of employee related issues. Indeed, these organisations often consider an EAP not only as an employee benefit but also value it for its return on investment.
Increasingly, employees face longer hours, heavier workloads, personal and financial concerns and the increasing pressures of modern life. All these factors contribute to workplace stress and result in:
In a society where there is a constant movement to litigation in response to employment issues, any thing which reduces this tendency is both in the best interests of an employer and will be cost effective. EAP saves money in the long term.
Consequently, implementing policies and procedures to minimise stress, such as an EAP, go a long way to help organisations fulfil their duty of care responsibilities and is vital to business success.
In a society where there is constant movement to litigation, with employee’s appeals to employment tribunals in response to employment issues, anything which reduces this tendency is both in the best interests of an employer and would be cost effective. EAP saves money in the long term and in the extreme case where an appeal to a tribunal is necessary will always present the company in the best possible light, having demonstrated that the duty of care has been taken extremely seriously.
